Chelsea take on Watford tonight having lost three of their last six Premier League games.

The Blues looked like they had got over the slump that saw they beaten by Tottenham Hotspur and Wolverhampton Wanderers, beating Manchester City and Brighton in the process.

However, Maurizio Sarri's side appeared to take a step backwards as they were beaten 1-0 by Leicester City on Saturday afternoon to get their festive period off to the worst possible start.

With Watford tonight, then Crystal Palace and Southampton all within the space of a week, rotating his starting XI will be key and the could well start at Vicarage Road.

Willian had a shocker against the Foxes at Stamford Bridge and while he has been a regular under Sarri this season, it could be time for him to have a spell on the sidelines.

That might mean a move over to the left wing for Eden Hazard, with Olivier Giroud back in the starting XI and leading the line against the Hornets.

Alvaro Morata has been out with a knee injury, but he has been back training with the rest of the squad and could be on the bench for the Blues

"I think so [that he'll be fit]. He [Morata] started to have training with the group, so he will be able to play on Boxing Day," Sarri said after the Leicester defeat.

Expected Chelsea XI: Kepa, Azpilicueta, Rudiger, Luiz, Alonso, Jorginho, Kante, Loftus-Cheek, Hazard, Pedro, Giroud.
